Poor kid. Poor kids. No child should starve. No parent should be helpless and agonizing about the family starving. We have enough resources to take care of everyone, but so many people have this mindset that “somebody somewhere might get something they don’t deserve” or “no one helped me when I needed help” or “people take advantage of the system so let’s make the system tougher” … so nothing is done.

Isn’t that the truth. Not everyone is equal no matter how one wants to believe it is true.

As am I which makes the possibility all that much more real. Such a sad thing in this day and age.

Very much so. It amazes me when people are so casual about children not getting food, clothes, and medicine. As if they did something to deserve this. (I got into a debate about ‘mooches’ on society this morning, so I’m a little amped up on the subject.)

I understand completely, it is a frustrating topic for me as well simply because it is so unnecessary in the 21st century.

art and pictures and words are powerful -especially paired with great truth. The world needs inspiration to awaken and reflect who we really are. I think we can create a prettier world.
