It is ironic
Considered a democracy–
Republic really
We treasure our vote
Though in many ways a farce
Given candidates
By parties that are corrupt
These are our choices
Pick from the best of the worst
Either way they always win

I believe that unfortunately is is true around the world leaving people feeling powerless.
The best candidates that PAC money can buy.
You are absolutely correct…it always comes down to money…always.
They do always win. Coming and going!

I’ve run across this suggestion to add to our polls online: “There should be an option where if it wins, we have to run the vote again, but with completely different candidates.”
I like it, there really isn’t one candidate that I wouldn’t trade in. There have to be much better choices out there.
