I remember seeing that shimmer effect a few times in Florida. Doesn’t seem to happen in New York.

It happens hear in Arizona all of the time in the summer. Maybe it has to do with the very hot temperatures and low humidity, but that would be a better question for our meteorologist friends. :)

Only meteorologist I know is in Alaska. Not really sure why anyone would move there.

I would love to go there sometime for a visit, but I certainly wouldn’t want to live there. I could ask my brother-in-law, he is a meteorologist for NOAA.

For you I hope so, for us, we are still well over 100 degrees F every day…a little fall would be nice. :)

For us, we probably have another month. It has been 110 degrees several days this week, but thankfully only in the 90’s next week. :)
