Now this year, it comes to a close
Ending on the wings of The Dove.
What lies ahead, no one knows, but
Yahweh in heaven above.
Each resolution we swear to uphold
And honor what Christmas time brings.
Returning as quickly to ourselves of old,
In our lust for material things..

Sad but I’m afraid true.
It is quite sad I would agree. 😦
A blip in behavior, but then back to the old, right? No sooner do we finish singing “Imagine” then we’re back to square one.
Absolutely…it is quite sad really, but I guess it is just a fact of modern life.
Pretty much. But — Happy New Year anyway! 🙂
Same to you my dear friend. I have really enjoyed our interactions over the past year and look forward to many more in the upcoming year. Enjoy yourself and be safe. 🙂
Staying home this evening — watching Red Dwarf and blogging. So, plenty safe! 😉
Yes, it’s been wonderful to “chat” with you over the past year (two, really — you’re one of the first people I met blogging). All the best to you!!!! 🙂
All the best to you in this New Year Jen, I look forward to all of our future chats as well. 🙂
😀
Thanks Dom 🙂
Wishing you beautiful moments, treasured memories, and all the blessing a heart can know. Happy New Year!
And a Happy New Year to you my friend. 🙂
This year was much different in our household. A family health emergency, focused our attentions, to what Christmas was really about. The spirit of giving–not just material things, but of ourselves.
I’m so sorry to hear about the health emergency, but at least on a positive note it allowed you to refocus on what it truly important. I hope that all turned out well in the end. Happy New Years to your and your family my friend.
Thanks, Happy New Years to you & yours
Same to you my friend. 🙂
