Cute and true. We can forget ourselves sometimes especially when the buffoon can cause harm with that ignorance

Very true, I ran into one of these “buffoons” recently that brought this poem to life. I probably should have kept my mouth shut, but I couldn’t seem to help myself.

Well, thank goodness we can blame forgetting on having a “senior” moment but many older persons do not get heard…so sometimes we all need to hear wise words even if they came out of anger sometimes. We have lived the years, and I feel earned the right to speak up… I don’t equate an older person telling off a buffoon lowering oneself to his level…we actually do know the difference:)

I suppose that is true, I’ve earned the right to speak my mind, but sometimes it is just a waste of breath since the ignorant seldom listen. I’m sure I won’t be able to control myself again at some point in the future so it will be something that I’ll just have to live with. :) Thanks Oliana.

Agreed. It’s never wise to come down to the level of a fool. This was a good reminder. :)
