It rides on horse with crimson eyes
Cleaved head its eternal quest
Hades resurrected, for centuries tries
Avenging soul the Devil blessed

By night the Hollow, Hell on earth
Onerous task in this Sleepy land
Demon slaughters for all its worth
Child and woman and man

Raise its head from unmarked grave
A task of a gruesome sort
Ne’er resting until craniums been saved

YES. This is a lovely tribute to the Four Horseman. I’m sorry; I’m a huge fan of the Apocalypse and the four horseman in particular, and you’ve captured the idea brilliantly.

Legend of sleepy hollow told brilliantly. And the four horsemen tied in very well. Reminds me of a flash fiction piece I wrote a while back called Four. Feel free to drop by any time and look at it or just stroll around my dark imagination. Anyway, just had to say I love this piece and look forward to seeing what else you’ve come up with.
