Prompt: Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie – Heeding Haiku with HA: Improving Our Haiku #2
~
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Since I had never intentionally written a senryu I thought Ha’s prompt this week might be the perfect opportunity to try…so here it goes.
Are the 2 haikus resonate each other?

The haiku is supposed to have an emphasis on the seasons / nature while the senryu is to highlight something about the human condition. I don’t know if I succeeded in doing this, but I tried. 🙂
I see 🙂
Thanks Dom, I had to check the link so hopefully I’ve learnt something. Seems to me you met the criteria beautifully!
Thank you Gilly, I hope that I did. 🙂
Wonderful!
Thank you so much. 🙂
Reblogged this on Steve's Blog.
Thanks, outstanding work
I love these Dom! You should try senryu more often!
They take more effort (not that I mind) than what I had originally though they would. I rather enjoyed it. 🙂
And the addiction starts — mwah ha ha ha!
No really — I do hope you write more of them. 🙂
I’m certain that I will thanks to your diabolical urging. 🙂
Shall I give you another evil cackle? 😉
Looking forward to them!
Please do. 🙂
Mwah ha ha ha ha!!!!!
Thank you…thank you very much. 🙂
Ahhhh…. that felt good. 😉
