Frozen to the bone.
Bleeding heart ripped from its soul;
Faith in man–fading!
In an eyes blink we do kill,
No remorse ‘til it’s too late. This seems oh so cold,
Against what we preach is right,
Yet it doesn’t stop.
We are Neanderthals still,
Little evolved from our past.
Please don’t fool yourselves,
We are wolves disguised as sheep,
Prepared to slaughter.

But as long as there are poets to protest these conditions there is always hope.
Great poems today Dom 🙂
Thank you Jen. I was in kind of a darker mood yesterday. Let’s see what today brings. 🙂
So very true of our current world situation! Great work!
Thank you, I find the state of our world quite distressing at the moment.
Are any of us still sheep once we’ve passed a certain age?
Actually, I think that there are great many sheep at all ages, some people are just born that way, though I don’t believe that it is always a bad thing. 🙂
That is true.
