Hey there Dom, had to comment on this one cause it did touch a crucial concept in life, my life and I guess in many others life´s “gratitude” which is not really a concept is an emotion that we all have towards the love one around us, or at least should have is better said and if not acknowledging our gratitude towards others one day you can very well be alone. That´s what I took away from the poem anyways.

Thank you Charly and I apologize for being so late in replying. Your take is correct, without love all we have is strife which in the end can leave us very much alone. How sad that would be. I’m really glad you liked this piece.
