sniff, sniff – here is a tissue:) jordy turns 20 in less than a month. i am already stocking up on tissues…
I can sympathize completely, mine are 24, 21 and 17, they grow up so fast. I am thankful though that they are all great kids and are turning out to be wonderful adults. 🙂
She is my 3rd and last child to get a license so my work as instructor is done. I guess I did a pretty good job as she passed the first time through. We are going to keep her driving to very local places for a while while she gets used to driving alone. Good luck to you when your time comes. 🙂
Yes… Stay local for a while! And tell her not to text too.
When my time comes? Oh my. Can’t imagine it….. :O
This one is going to be the most difficult, she thinks she is ready to drive everywhere when she really isn’t. It may hit home when she gets behind the wheel by herself for the first time…I hope. When your time comes, I’m sure you will handle it just fine of course not without some stress and worry, but you will make it through. 🙂
I hope so!!! :O
My son is just past 2. I can’t imagine letting him get behind the wheel of a car. Has to be tough. Good luck and safe travels.
Well she is my 3rd and last one to get their license. She took her test yesterday and passed with flying colors the first time through, I guess my teaching wasn’t too bad. 🙂
Beautiful thoughts Dom, and so very true.
Thank you my friend, it is a big day. 🙂
awww… i sense a milestone…? 🙂 hugs
My last child driver…my work is done, other than the worrying of course. 🙂

I like to think so, thank you Jen. 🙂
One of life’s difficult transitions, for sure.
