Savage is mankind
Seeing only difference
Color, religion
Anything to condone hate
In our feeble human minds
Time has not changed us
We are still just as savage
As our ancestors
Dressed in our finest clothing

Not all of mankind is savage…not all of mankind is savage.
Some people can’t see the forest for the trees, while others can’t see the trees for the forest. In other words, not everyone focuses on differences.
Some minds like to view everything as ONE, and people like that have a very difficult time with mathematics…which is all about differences, breaking things down and putting things together. I have always had an extremely difficult time with math (and that’s an understatement). I like to count to ONE, and leave it at that..
I don’t disagree with you…not all mankind is savage, but the savage are the ones that get the attention and we seem to have a lot more of this today. Thank you for your thoughtful comment Mary, I do appreciate it.
