Thank you. This type of thing is such a tragedy.

after i hit the reply icon, i realized that my comment could be misconstrued as in the subject is perfect – which of course is not by any means. the marriage of your words and the photo – simple – to the point. – this is where my reference of perfect comes from.

No worries, I understood what you meant. This is a subject we shouldn’t have to talk about, write about or even consider, but unfortunately we do. Thank you again for the support and encouragement. :)

First off, thank you for sharing that, Ronnie Dunn happens to be one of my favorite singers. Secondly, the song, “Bleed Red” says it all now doesn’t it. This was my point exactly. :)

I like how you tied in the immorality of racial profiling in your haiku.

Thank you so much. This is an absolutely immoral practice that has likely been going on since the beginning of time and unfortunately is alive and well today. It is such a disgrace.

I would say it’s alive and unwell. ;)
One thing that I have noticed, though, is if someone is very rich then the social profiling is not applied the same way.

“unwell” certainly would have been the better choice. You are correct, it does seem as though money or the lack of it, influences peoples perceptions. Logically, this is ridiculous, but it does seem to be the case.

    Short and universally true.

Thank you very much. Unfortunately it is universally true. I would like to believe that someday it won’t be, but honestly I don’t hold out much hope.

        I agree.
