    • It is a horrible thing to watch someone go through. I am fortunate that I do not suffer from this, but someone close to me does and it is the most helpless feeling when you truly want to help, but can’t. All one can do is be there to support them in any way possible.

  1. Powerful poem. Thanks for sharing it.

I am a fellow blogger with a mental illness and I’m currently working on a spiritual memoir entitled “Delight in Disorder: Meditations from a Bipolar Mind”. Currently, I’m working on “The Study” chapter where I reflect on books that have impacted my understanding of mental illness as well as list other works of art (books, movies, visual arts, music) worth exploring.

I’d love for you to visit my site and share what you’ve found helpful. The post is here –

    Hope to see you around.

    • Thank you very much and I wish you the best of luck with your memoir. It takes a great deal of strength to bring such a personal struggle out into the public. I am so impressed by your courage and will certainly check out your site, thank you for sharing it.

  2. I love writing about darkness and light. There is light in the darkness I think- just enough to be reflected by the strong light of another.
    Thanks for visiting my site.
    Blessings-
