Has there not been enough killing, enough hate
All centered around religious faith?
Perhaps kindness and love would be a better solution;
Plying our ingenuity to the pursuits of peace and joy
Instead of weapons of human destruction.
Never has there been such a proliferation!
Ever more I believe the right path is unfettered love,
Something we are born with, but many of us lose through cynicism.
Strive to regain it and you may witness the rebirth of childlike joy.

Ever wonder if humans are naturally violent and they’d find a reason to go to war even without religion? Almost like we’re still trying to pull ourselves out of our more primitive nature.
Oh I’m sure we would find some other excuse, for the power and conquest if religion wasn’t involved, but it wouldn’t be as easy for them to justify it.
There was an episode of Futurama where Bender and Fry signed up for the army and war ended up getting declared. When the reason for the war was being explained it was ‘And they called you jerks’. Some days I feel like this would work on at least 25% of the populace.
Oh, you are being far too kind…only 25%, I think the number might be somewhat higher and it’s only getting worse.

I agree, I love Christ, but so many Christians are not good models of his message and in fact are quite the opposite. I am studying Taoism and its message is truly one of peace and beauty as is Buddhism. Thanks my friend.

I agree, so much could be diffused by not perpetuating confrontation.
