Confusion (Acrostic)

Chaos corrals me

Only to cut me loose with a fury

Nothing makes sense anymore

Frying my feeble brain

Useless is it to resist

Steely is her grip

Instead I submit

Only to plunge deeper into the darkness

Never to return

Hi Dom. I’ve done a lot of this type and never knew what it is called. I coined ‘acronym poems’ just so I would have an instant answer when asked. Most of my friends and family have this poem where I spell out their names (including surname!) to describe them. Cool! Now I can write more and know exactly what to call them. Thanks! You Da Man!

I’m glad I could help. I love writing acrostics, they are fun to write and not as easy as they appear. Be well my friend. :)

Just wanted to share with you. I wrote this for a painter friend who’s planning swift careers.
