Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Being from New Jersey originally I got to watch his antics as he came up and he is a despicable human being in so many ways. People don’t seem to realize that him and people like him have been trying to destroy this country by profiteering since its inception. And those that cheer for his hateful rhetoric, need to find a bit of humanity. They are just as disgraceful as he is. Thanks Jen, nice to hear from you.
Yes, I’ve been rather absent — sorry about that! o.O
Trump is vile, vile, vile — I don’t understand how anyone could take him seriously as a candidate or even as a decent human being. 😛
No problem Jen, so have I and may be for a bit longer, but I am still around at least a bit. 🙂
Name for me please, the president who took office without a penny to his name? If I am not mistaken every president who ever served was wealthy when he assumed the office. Even the old rail-splitting log cabin dweller was a very wealthy lawyer who enforced public domain cases for the railroads before he ascended to the White House. I am, of course, speaking of The Great Emancipator. As far as I can tell and unless there is something I am missing all of them have been rich when they became president.
I suppose that you are correct, at least wealthier than the average working man that is for sure. You make a good point although wealth should not give one license to be an ass like Trump. Thanks John.
I remember George W. Bush and I didn’t think he would get a second term either. The American People are hard to gauge sometimes. BTW …. have we ever had an “Ass” as President before? I think Democrats would have one answer to such a question and Republicans would have a different answer.
Oh I’m certain we have had many “asses” fill that seat over our history, but as you say, I suppose it depends which side of the aisle one is on that determines who is an asset and who is just an ass. 🙂

Very nice Cynthia, thank you for sharing it. 🙂
Brilliant analogy Cynthia and amazing poem!
That’s rich for ya!
Indeed it is.
Trump …. ugh …. but consider this: he might not be the person to watch. To whom is he trying to funnel votes in the long run?
Can’t stand the man ….!!!!

LOL
Thank you for your series on Donald Dump. I love it!
Thanks Cindy, I just really can’t wait until the election is over so that we can move on and deal rationally with the outcome.
