How long does love last?
A question asked for eons,
Yet answers elude.
Wouldn’t it be best to ask,
How committed is your heart
To keep love alive?
For pondering loves demise
Will most certainly doom it to fail.

Maybe we do ask the wrong questions, create self-fulfilling prophecies, or maybe we just gave up on the whole idea of commitment a long time ago. Liked the poem Dominic, nice message so many need to not just hear, but choose for themselves! Love has become disposable like so much else in this life! It is sad.
I think that giving up on commitment is the worst of it. I don’t know if people think it is supposed to be an eternal honeymoon or what, but it is sad. Of course I know that there are circumstances when it is best to end it, but I think that should be the exception rather than the rule.
perfect question to ask – i think if people asked the question you posed, many answers would be different.
