I prefer to look for the good. But- experiences & realities have me proceeding with caution.
Your approach is probably more prudent than mine. Some times as hard as I try to find the good in things, there just isn’t any. I’m a realist, and know that, but people that constantly focus on the negative are horrible to be around. You sound like you have a good balance and that is smart. :)
you are not naive, Dominic, it is a gift to see the positive sometimes and avoid the tainted soul.
