I don’t mind flying, but I haven’t done it that often.
I do it more than I like and when I have the opportunity to drive instead of fly I’ll do it every time.
I drive now because of the toddler. Don’t want to test him yet.
I don’t blame you, once you are on the plane there is no getting off if the toddler decides he doesn’t want to be there. :)
It isn’t even him that worries me. It’s the other passengers that have no sympathy. I read up on it and found that it’s typically because of the air pressure hurting their ears. No real way to stop it if it happens and frustration makes it worse.
It sure does, its probably best to wait for him to get a little older…and better for you. :)
As I read this, the first thing that came to mind was – George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Do you know why? :)
Well – the piece of music above is the music that United Airlines uses for their commercials (or used to – not certain if they still do). It is so beautiful. I believe that UA chose well, but most people only hear a commercial tune – they do not realize they are listening to an amazing composition written by one of America’s most talented composers. (He also wrote (Porgy and Bees)
You know, I didn’t even realize that was the tune. I just learned something new. :)
It’s a lot of trust when stepping onto an airplane. I can see why people are terrified of the idea.
Yes, I have to say I am not a fan, I flew to Syracuse this morning, it was a necessity, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it. :)
