Raised to live in fear.
Plagued with being fallible
Before loving God.
Should I live in mortal doubt
Afraid of retribution?
I prefer to thrive;
Not in guilt, but blissful joy
Trusting God’s wisdom.
Ashamed of my sins–perhaps,
Though faithful in spirits grace.

It seems there is too much fear in the world and being fearful of God is one fear that does not seem right. Why fear someone that we are told we should love and who loves us? I will never understand religion. ;)
This is where I find eastern spirituality to be very interesting. To find God is to look deep within ourselves and to not be afraid of what we find or of setbacks on the journey to enlightenment. I am new to it, but have been doing a great deal of reading and find it very intriguing, joyful and an overall pleasant experience. Is something that has been in existence and in practice for many thousands of years necessarily the wrong path…I don’t know that it is. :)
Faithful in spirits grace…
The Great Spirit shall erase
all sins accompanying remorse
life continues on its course:)
