Hopefully fate holds pizza. ;) Seriously, I’ve wondered about the living like it’s your last day mentality. I know some people who do it and try to do good deeds every day. Others remind me of a toddler trapped in a candy store. Guess it’s not for everyone.
I guess what I worry about is putting things off until tomorrow and then ones tomorrow never comes. Regrets can be like battery acid eating away at us until there is nothing left. I don’t want that to be me. By the way, I’m with you on the pizza.
I agree and I think about that every day. In a way, people take tomorrow for granted and never consider that it might not show up. Sounds rather dark when I say it that way.
It is kind of a dark thought, but it is really just being realistic, we can never know our future.
Knowing would take the fun out of life anyway.
That is true, who really wants to know what is going to happen next.
I know this answer. People who cheat in the stock market. :)
You got it! Congratulations. :)
I love how you sum up all your ideas in two or three lines, this is very creative. best poems ever :)
very true, i dont believe in fate but no one knows what future is holding in arms for us :)
Whether it is fate or a destiny of our own design you are right, no one can truly know their future. Thank you my friend.
I love how short and simple these can be and yet mean so much.
I do too, that is my favorite thing about haiku. Thank you so much.
