It seems like it, we have been in the upper 80’s low 90’s for the past week. Yesterday driving home it was 97 degrees. We don’t typically get much of a spring here.
It’s 12:35 PM and it is already 90 degrees. Our hottest part of the day is between 4 and 5 PM so we aren’t done yet. :)
Yikes. Hope you get indoors to some AC.
Hey, it’s a dry heat, I think there is only about 5% humidity. I go out and a couple of miles a day at lunch time for some exercise and today was no different. Things really don’t start to get rough until we get into the 100’s, which will be happening very soon I’m sure.
Is this normal? Just sounds like you hopped over spring.
It is a little abnormal it’s definitely warmer than it should be.
97? Good grief!!!!!! We’re hitting 78 this weekend and I’ve been thinking “that’s about as high as it needs to get, thank you very much”! Ugh! Stay safe in the heat!
Oh I will, the heat doesn’t actually bother me very much. I was raised and lived on the east coast right next to your lovely state and 78 degrees there is completely different than 78 degree here.
The humidity here in the east is awful — I can’t stand it at all. It makes a person *wilt*. Ugh!

I know, I can remember taking a shower and being almost unable to dry off when I cam out. That is one thing I don’t miss.
By July we’ll be having fond memories of January, lol!
No doubt, we are less than a month away from being solidly in the 100’s, but that is all part of living here I suppose.
I suppose so!
Now if only there were a place where the temps were always in the 70s •and• it didn’t rain all the time …. That would be perfect. But then, what would people have to talk about then?!? ;)
I suppose so, it would be boring wouldn’t? :)
Yup! :)
What an interesting POV – like hatchlings in a nest
A very interesting thought!
Thank you, yesterday was 97 degrees Fahrenheit / 37 degrees Celsius, quite warm for April 10th. :)
Skipped spring?

Wow. Think we’re in the 50’s/60’s here.

Thank you Eric, such a great analogy.
