A wonderful poem and observation! But when spring comes — winter will be conquered!
For much of the country I’m sure that they are already looking forward to spring.

I was thinking, you change the title to – a requiem for a leaf. ;)
Wow, I like that much better than “Leaf Saunters”. Maybe I will do a follow-up piece called “A Requiem For A Leaf”. :)
