    • Thank you. I’d like to think so. I know that when we had our first the anxiety was incredible. By the time we got to the third it became less so although we still worried. Fortunately I guess my wife and I didn’t do half bad, they are all good kids. :)

  1. You really touched on something very truthful for parents who experience the miracle of birth. As the months of my pregnancy go by I find that I am experience those worries about will I make a good mother. The responsibility of caring for another life is a huge one.

    • Thank you very much. I have gone through this doubt 3 times and it does get somewhat easier after the first, but the feeling never completely goes away. They are your children and you just hope that you do right by them and make them good, kind and responsible adults.

  2. I hope you don’t mind that I’ve printed this and pasted it on my fridge. If nothing else to remind me that the single most marvellous, fantastic achievement in my life has been my four kids.

    • I do not mind at all, in fact I am honored that you would do that. I have three children and I feel the same way about mine as well. I think this is something universal. Thank you so much.
