Beautifully written. Sad thing is I thought about The Wizard of Oz too. The reality of a tornado is anything but entertaining. A tornado hit my apartment building several years ago and carved a path of destruction in my area. Nothing on the scale of Oklahoma though. But it is a scary reality.
Thank you so much. I have no personal experience with tornadoes (only hurricanes), but I am in absolute awe of the power of nature and am sad for the tragedy that the people of Oklahoma are having to go through. I just can’t imagine it.
Thank you so much and thank you for the reblog. This one came to me this morning as I was watching the continuing news coverage of the tragedy. It is such a sad thing to see.
They sure are, as I mentioned, I have never been through a tornado, but I really can’t imagine how helpless one must feel in the face of all of that power. It is so sad.

Wow-this poem says so very much in just so little words. Very profound.

You just somehow managed to find the most fitting words, in such a short poetic form to do the tragedy some justice. It was well-done.Very sincere,
Thanks again. :)
I thought of Oz as well, the images from Moore are dreadful.

Follow the Yellow brick road
Ignore the goading toad;
Fly high into the sky
Await daylight and receive God’s Blessing-
It’s a jungle out there!
Thank you and wonderful words, I really love it. :)
