These words are my own
One man’s view of this world
Offered in earnest
Like a father to his child
They are given out of love

Oh I like that, “like a father to his child”.
I enjoyed writing this one, it just seemed to flow. Thank you my friend.
Love when that happens, the flow–confirmation that we are indeed poets.
I couldn’t agree more. :)
and gratefully received!
Thank you so much Gilly. :)
very meta I like it
Thank you my friend, I’m glad that you enjoyed it.
One of the few things we can ever truly own if you think about it.
You are right, but unfortunately when people use them wrong they love to say that everyone else took them out of context. :)
It’s a strange deflection. Though context does seem to be a personal thing.
Very true, it is a personal thing, but once something is said I think one should be adult enough to take ownership of it.
That’s crazy enough to work.
