Injustice lives on
Made evident by our courts
Poverty and racism feed its hunger
Until blood is spilled to satisfy
Nothing changes, civil rights are a myth
Insinuated to please the skeptics
Then in one fell swoop
Yet another innocent dies with no justice served

The DOJ’s recent decisions have left me feeling like I’ve been kicked in the gut.
I understand Xena. I can’t believe that it still happens in this day and age, but we see it every day. I guess the real question is, when will things change in this country? The pessimist in me says never, but I still have hope that someday, probably long after I’m gone we will realize that people are people having the same hopes and dreams regardless of skin color or religion. Stay hopeful my friend.
Well said.
Thank you very much.
Such truth to this.
Thank you very much Anthony.
