Does the Summer cry
Mourning for it’s own demise
As its spirit falls
Buried under Autumn’s reign
It awaits solstice rebirth

Excellent question. This year summer seems to be going down with a fight, so I don’t think it’s crying. Though, I wonder if the first rain of spring is the sign that winter has given up.
Oh, that is possible, the first rain may mean that winter has given up, I hadn’t thought of it that way.
Honestly, it came to me as I was writing the comment.
I do wonder about whether or not the seasons notice the passage of time. I wonder if the trees feel naked.
Not nude trees, I guess we will have to start rating mother nature XXX. :)
Oooh…don’t look at the bark!
I will try not to. :)
I believe summer knows it returns; taking joy in what autumn has to offer, a supportive friend. Grin
Thanks Belinda, I believe that you are right. :)
