Were you particularly adhering to a style or some metre or so? Asking because I think ‘your own’ could have been ‘yours’.

Thank you for the nice comment my friend. This was written in the tanka form 5-7-5-7-7. I write a lot of these both singularly and nested as I happen to love the form.
