Wasted on the young
I know because I was them once
Stubborn, invincible, I would live forever
Death seemed so far off
On the far side of halfway I want to share my lessons
Maybe this time someone will listen, then again why should this time be different

Thank you my friend, I appreciate you saying so.
It’s my pleasure I love your work
Ah, I read this after making my own remark, which I now realize is superfluous.
Kind of reminds me of Roy Clark’s song, Yesterday when I was young….
Yes, I can see that. Thank you Juan and sorry for the very late reply.
That’s quite ok
So well put ! and in such a tight structured form too !
Thank you so much my friend, I appreciate you saying so.
Very nice!
Thank you very much my friend.
Lovely and succinct. -Robert
Thank you very much Robert.
Yesiree, the older we get, the smarter, we now realize, our parents were.
That is true, it takes age to make one realize that our parents were not as dumb as we thought they were when we were young. I know that my kids, now adults are beginning to realize it. Sweet revenge. 🙂
Exactly, this happens everywhere!
This one makes me smile, Dom. Thanks yet again for reading and liking so much of my work.
My pleasure Elaine.
