Feel the warmth of sun
Cutting through the frozen air
A bud shows its face

Feel the warmth of sun
Cutting through the frozen air
A bud shows its face
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Flaming orange clouds
Soft and inviting overhead
Sorbet of the sky
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Beauty in all things
Is what I see through these eyes
Window with a view
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Sillhouetted owl
Feathers ruffle silently
Who will be his prey
~~Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Sunlight’s refraction
Hostage to frosty prism
An icy rainbow
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Coo of morning dove
Announces entrance of dawn
Gecko’s welcome warmth
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
So lovely are you,
A flower frozen in time,
Beauty eternal.
To my eyes forever young,
Though to others we grow old.
Age, is illusion,
Wasted for generations
On those bearing youth.
A shame and curse to be sure
For they are blinded by years.
One day they will know
What we begrudgingly learned,
That love knows no bounds.
It is beauty internal
That time cannot take away.
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Man’s eyes deceive him
When under a woman’s spell
They say love is blind
Who would I be to argue
For I am truly bewitched
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Shine on haloed moon
Over nighttime sky thou art king
Thy subjects slumber
~~ Dominic R. DiFrancesco ~~
Frosted window panes
Stand between me and the cold
Winter wonderland
