Cool and Refreshing

Cool and refreshing

I touched her to my lips.

Sweetly anointing my soul,

Her love cradling me,

Caressing me with a silken hand.

She is soft yet passionate;

Flowing over me,

In me, through me.

Under my lover’s touch

I am vulnerable to her spell.

Just as clay in her hands

I am kneaded,

Ready to do her bidding

Without question or concern.

She likewise–

Is the caldron I stir,

Churning desire with each stroke

Until she boils over.

Two souls melding into one,

Flesh on flesh,

Heartbeats in unison,

Never to be parted

In this life or the next.

I Ache For You

I ache for you,

Nerve endings strain against the skin that represses them.

Agony and ecstasy bound into one vessel

Waiting to draw you close and ravage you.

This–a torture worse than a thousand deaths

I would not trade.

Nay–the devil may try to lead this soul astray,

But he will surely fail.

You, my beloved, are all that this unworthy beast desires.

The scent of your hair,

The softness of your silky skin

Caressed under my calloused hands,

Your love, though I am flawed and fragile

Is all that I desire.

I offer my heart, soul, blood and bone to you,

No conditions, free for your taking.

What more can I give than my life

Which was yours from conception.

You are my destiny, my love, my life,

The one that I live for

…And the one I would gladly die for.

Lips Warm Brush My Neck, So Sweet (Sonnet)

Lips warm brush my neck, so sweet,
How could I, why would I wish to sleep.
If I were to pass my life complete,
Enveloped in your love so deep.

I turn to caress your tender face,
Through the many years you’re still the one.
There is no other to take your place,
Written in the stars since times begun.

In passions embrace our souls consumed,
As we once two commence to be one.
A love this true could never be assumed,
From deepest night ‘til morning sun.

O’ love my love you must never doubt, the devotion that I feel for you,
With my last breath I would gladly shout, my vows, my commitment anew.

Love Unspoken Envelops Me In Joy (Sonnet)

Love unspoken envelops me in joy,

Beyond words, you and I have grown.

True to the heart this is not a ploy,

Thoughts and actions my passions have shown.

.

I need not a word to know that you’re there,

Trials and tribulations have proven faith.

Through good and bad together we’ve shared,

By my side you stayed so unlike a wraith.

.

My love, love though fickle it be,

Cannot deceive once newness fades.

In you in silence your tenderness I see,

With an affection strong as balustrades.

.

Product of time is this comfortable skin,

One I would never shed to begin again.

Wake To Tender Touch (Tanka)

Wake…to tender touch

Offered free in lovers glow

Gently from my soul

In the kindness of your smile

I find sweet serenity

Draw Near

Draw near cherished one,

To feel you close nourishes me,

Feeding heart and soul

No greater love has there been,

Than that between you and I.

The touch, skin on skin,

Warm, soft, moist, us intertwined,

Locked, passionate kiss;

Bodies tight as we become one,

One heart, one soul, forever.

Together So Long – A Tanka

Together so long

We speak volumes with silence

Our thoughts meld as one

What a strange phenomenon

This marriage of two mimes

Equal is equal

Only when convenient

Discrimination

Of Marriage Equality

This incessant fighting,

Selective equality,

Blatant discrimination,

Is this what America is about?

~

Answer!, Those of you waving the constitution in our faces!

You cannot pick and choose when to hold it in high esteem,

You cannot pick and choose when and what to disregard.

~

You say marriage equality is evil,

You say you are defending the children,

It will destroy conventional marriage,

Destroy the family.

~

Nay I say!

The demise of the two parent family occurred long ago,

Half consumed by the flames of divorce.

I ask you, is not love of greater importance?

~

Gay my friends, is not a disease,

It is not contagious,

It is not some choice made on a whim,

It is not a choice at all, but determined at birth.

~

You heathens hide behind your religion,

You hide behind the robes of your God

So that you can carry on your campaign of bigotry feeling justified,

Distorting the word you so deeply cherish

To the detriment of your fellow man.

~

Oh, but how funny it is!

How opinions change when they enter your life,

When they are your sons and daughters,

When they are your friends or next of kin.

Suddenly the world seems so much clearer

And that which you have taken exception to seems to disappear.

~

Raise your voices dear friends!

Stand with your brothers and sisters,

Stand with your sons and daughters,

Stand with those having little voice.

We must be one if we are to be a great nation,

United…Equal…and Free!
